The welding process is being hazardous at the process of melting of two metallic parts at very high radiant temperature and emitting profuse hazardous fumes. The process is being manual by holding welding in nearest vicinity in head and object. This causes the exposure of high temperature welding fumes to the welders breathing zone. To get read of this occupational hazard Chasm invented a unique welding fume extraction system with extended arm. This help ergonomically compatible extraction system without creating any hindrance to the welder and compromising quality and quantity of welding process.
The Process of welding fume extraction normally comprises of well designed extended arms, Centralized steady ducting and High efficient silent blowers making system compact and designed for consistent operation. The achievers speak about experiences in our various clientele.
Wherever it is a viable solution, it has been proven that extraction at source is the most effective and efficient method of capturing and removing welding and similar fumes. Using this method, the risk of the welder or operator being subject to hazardous fumes is minimized.
The necessary components to achieve proper source capture of welding fumes are an easily positioned fume extractor with a well-designed hood, proper airflow through the fume extractor and a conscientious welder who will position the hood in a manner that will draw hazardous fumes away from his or her breathing zone and avoid to spread the smoke in the premises
Source extracted welding fumes conveyed through MS welded/ GI Ducting. Ducting will be designed and manufactured as per IS 655 and ACGIH standard.
Caramet Make Fans and blowers are incorporated into Welding Fume Extraction System to help to extract Fumes from welding process with the help of extraction hoods and conveyed through Ducting exhaust out into outside environment. Few known types are SISW, DIDW , High Pressure , Redial and Aerofoiled Bladed.
